Quick Weeknight Chicken Drumsticks

A random assortment of ingredients turned semi-cohesive weekday meal 

Ingredients 

1 package of Costco drumsticks

Olive oil - used Graza this time! 

Salt 

Pepper

Garlic powder 

Cayenne pepper 

Pacific Smoke from Deliciouser 

Onion 

1 red bell pepper 

1 green bell pepper 

Half of a red onion 

Half a container of orzo 

2 spoonfuls of garlic parmesan and basil butter from Hyvee

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees 

  2.  After patting chicken dry, place in mixing bowl and coat with a drizzle of olive oil.

  3. Sprinkle all seasonings by measuring with your heart. Mix.

  4. Transfer to a baking sheet

  5. Slice bell peppers and onions

  6. Add to a mixing bowl and drizzle with olive oil 

  7. Add all seasonings except salt. Mix.

  8. Transfer to another baking sheet 

  9. Roast chicken and vegetables at 400 degrees for 400 mins or until chicken in cooked through and vegetables are roasted to your liking. For a nice char on the veggies roast a little longer. 

  10. Prepare orzo using box directions

  11. After draining add butter to orzo and residual heat to melt. 

  12. Let cool and enjoy!
